Wow, is it really the end of summer? Last day of August and we are heading into September with Vegas & Summer Slam behind us, Summer league coming to an end and Fall leagues soon to begin. Where has the time gone? It seems like everything has been on fast forward since Vegas and the World Championships and are just now starting to calm down. My last update was mid July with the newsletter and since then I have put everything on hold to take care of myself after surgery, I'm feeling better now and up to slowly get things moving once again...please bear with me as the updated newsletter which will include hi-lights from Vegas and Summer slam will be a little delayed :-)

 

We would like to thank those of you that have embraced the Cosmo darts and the Fit flight system from Japan who have placed orders with Elliott and making it the fastest growing new product here in Hawaii. I know that many of you are using it and like the way it feels and flys. It will soon be available at multiple bars and dart shops but for now if you would like to order please contact Elliott at: 330-1283. Also stay tuned as the next big wave that we may be bringing in which is also from Japan is the L-Flight system which was introduced at the World Championships!

 

Pacific league updates - League is coming to a close the week of Sept. 5th, for some it is already done as you may have pre-played for Labor Day. There is 1 week of playoffs which is the week of Sept. 11th. Your finals schedule is as follows: AA - Wed. Sept. 22, 7:30pm @ Scores; A - Thurs. Sept. 23, 7:30pm @ Leeward Bowl; BBB - Sat. Sept. 18th, 7:30pm @ Okoles, BB - Thurs. Sept. 23rd, 7:30pm @ Y's, B - Sun. Sept. 19th, 6:00pm @ Leeward Bowl (Sun & Mon divisions), B - Wed. Sept. 22, 7:30pm @ Okoles (Wed divisions) and C - Tues. Sept. 21, 7:30pm @ Club Reno

 

Fall Season Pacific/Medalist league updates - Sign ups close Sept. 12th! League starts October 3rd. Contact league coordinators to find out if they are holding Pacific or Medalist leagues at their locations and to sign up.

Sept. 18th Lisa's House Monthly tournament

Sept. 25th Remedy Match Pot tournament - Special announcement....for those of you who bought the $5 raffle tickets at the last tournament (there were 10 tickets and we know who bought them) there will be a special raffle that night for those players. A bottle of crown will be donated by Darts R Us and raffled off along with some of the other $5 raffle prizes. If you are unable to make it your prize will be held but we would like for you to be there.
